HD LCD monitor:
OLED monitor, this series supports a wide range of standard analog audio and video signals. It also supports high/standard definition-SDI digital video signal and AES/EBU digital audio. The characteristics of active light-emitting OLED display almost no angle constraints, light weight, small size, low power consumption. The OLED display cold property is fine, it could display normally in below zero 40 degrees Celsius. LCD monitor, which supports multistandard analog audio and video signals. It also supports digital video source including SD/HD SDI and digital audio source including AES/EBU. The LCD panel enables the LCD series to have the light weight and lower power consumption.
HD LCD monitor, about the size, we have 15inch, 17inch, 19inch, 42inch and 47inch.
LCD monitor, as their name suggests, use liquid crystal display(LCD) technology.
About the HD LCD monitor advantage as below:
- Uses Less Power. HD LCD monitor also produce less heat, which means less load on air conditioning.
- Takes up less space.HD LCD monitors are small, thin, and weigh less.
- Highly adjustable. Many LCD models can be rotated 90 degrees, allowing you to view websites in portrait mode. HD LCD monitor can also be mounted on the wall or on an arm.
- No flicker. HD LCD monitor don't have lines that need to be scanned like in CRTs. No flicker = a lot less eye strain.
- Less glare. Due to the material of the LCD screen, less light is reflected at the user. Same with "no flicker", this results in less eye strain.
- Brightness. HD LCD monitors are brighter than the traditional CRTs.
- Less distortion. Using a direct digital input from the graphics card produces cleaner 'output'. The monitor's perfect geometry means images aren't distorted, which is a boon for graphic designers and the like.

LG will demonstrate next generation 1920 x 1080/60p full HD video content at IFA 2007. LG’s next generation full HD TVs can display 60 frames per second at a 1920 x 1080 resolution. The “p” in 60p stands for progressive scan. These 60p TVs differ from 1920 x 1080/30p TVs that show only 30 frames per second and 1920 x 1080/60i or interlaced TVs that only refresh half the lines of resolution at a time. 60p-capable TVs can display a larger amount of information per second than any other type of televisions. Sixty-frame per second progressive scan technology dramatically reduces moiré effect and image noise, creating sharper images.
The edges of round objects are clearer and free from jaggedness that has sometimes been evident with existing content. Moiré effect is an optical illusion that causes the appearance of lines across an image, degrading video quality and resolution. LG used its LF75 full HD LCD TV, to the test the 60p content; this model is set to be launched globally in this month.
