MaxSdr multi-purpose monitor technical report

MaxSdr multi-purpose monitor is world’s first developed monitor using Organic lighting- Emitting Diode, radiate initiative. The eximious function and capability makes it totally different from the original LCD.

The MaxSdr monitor owns its OLED screen formed by organic lighting- emitting diode, as its high contrast, less thickness, wide sight, high react speed, big range in tempreture, nice look, and also has no requirement in lamp-house, OLED is thought to be a revolution in plane display technology.

OLED’s Specialities

1.      Lighting elements:

The Organic lighting- Emitting display is constructed by thin organic coat and glass base board. The organic coat will light when charge goes through. The color OLED shows is depend on the material of organic coat, different material shows specifically colors. The array OLED display owns inner-circuit system, so that each image is driven by one circuit.

2.      Character:

The display uses initiative emitting material, no need of back board, wide range of sight, high reaction speed, colorful images, could act just by drive circuit, it could be made to flexuose shape and also keep the thickness. (1.5-2.5mm)

Display: Initiative emitting, wide range of sight, high reaction speed, stable images, high brightness, colorful, high differentiation rate.

High efficiency: Low drive voltage, save power, could keep working with battery or low voltage power.

Structure:

OLED not only uses advanced display technology, but also relates to other advanced new technology.

In software part, it uses C language to construct the language structure, include basic and application software structure, formes the logical contral system, which could distribute OSD manual and other more operating programe.

In hardware part, it uses CPU, RAM, video processor, vedio FPGA, and HD processing circuits.

1.The thickness of the display screen OLED is thin, less than 2mm, it is just 1/3 of LCD.

2.OLED devices for all-solid-state structures, non-vacuum, non-liquid substances, seismic and well, it can meet the enormous acceleration, atrocious environment and so on.

3.The characteristics of active light-emitting OLED display: Almost no angle constraints, the general perspective can reach 178 degrees, with a wide perspective, and the side no distortion. OLED is much more brighter than LCD.

4.Response time of OLED display is less than 50µs, it less than TFT- LCD 700 times. response time of the TFT- LCD is about 35ms, now the best big display response time only have 5ms, but OLED display screen is probably 5¡«50µs.

5.The OLED display cold property is fine, it could display normally in below zero 40 degrees Celsius, and the LCD response speed changes with the temperature. Under the low temperature, its response speed slows down. Therefore, the effect of reveal is poor at the low temperature.

6.OLED display screen organic adopts illumination principle, less materials, in manufacture it has more working procedure than LCD, and the cost down largely.

7.OLED display uses diode illuminate actively, so doesn’t need the back light source, the illumination transfer efficiency is high, the energy consumption is lower than the LCD. The TFT¨DLCD screen can not shine independently, which depends on the back light reflection illumination.

8.The low power dissipation and high efficiency, driven under the direct low voltage current, it can be lighted with battery under 10V.
